During the olympic games of munich 1972 , eleven members of the Israeli olympic team  were taken hostage , and later,after a failed rescue attempt,killed by a palestian terrorist group 

The reasons for which the hostage rescue by the german police failed , was due to the extensive and detailed coverage of the media , they ended up altering terrorists
